A Game about Red Lines

Solo maze game made in Unity for a jam. Third place out of 32 entries at Trijam 332, then improved afterwards.

What it is

A solo maze game made in Unity during Trijam 332, where it placed third out of 32 entries. I kept working on it after the jam and published an improved version.

The jam theme was “Sacrifice”. I settled on a platformer game in which you HAD to lose lives to progress, making for a puzzle-based gameplay experience where the player must analyse and choose which path they want to take. The game was made in 3 hours as the trijam requires. I came back to the project a few days later to add sounds (which were completely missing), fix a few bugs and add a little smile on the player’s character.

What I learned

Thinking and making decisions quickly, focusing on the must-do instead of trying to over-polish when on a time constraint.
